The whole region is a true haven for nature & sport lovers alike offering a wide range of outdoor activities from horse riding & tennis to mountian biking, road cycling & golf not to mention the canoeing & fishing opportunities in the area

The Lot et Garonne is also brimming with history, breathtaking Castles & Chatueax's are scattered throughout the region in the most enchanting medieval villages.
History of a more ancient sort can be explored in the incredible prehistoric cave drawings of Lascaux & Grotte de Rouffignac

PARC EN CIEL, Lacapelle Biron

Parc en Ciel sits in 16 acres of woodland in the lovely Gavaudun valley. The River Lede runs through the park and there is also a small lake. Inside the park are a tree-top adventure area, a large natural swimming pool, mini-golf, disc-golf and a couple of childrens playgrounds. The whole site has been attractively planted with a pleasant mix of shrubs and flowers. If you have children this is a great day out for the whole family. A tree adventue park, a large natural pool, mini-golf and an attractive park mean there is something for everyone.

ACTIVITIES ON THE RIVER

The department was notably named after two rivers, the Lot and the Garonne River, making a wide range of activities like canoeing or kayaking available.

CYCLING

What better way to get an introduction to the Lot-et-Garonne than by bike. You'll be amazed by how much territory you can cover on bike tours.

45 minutes drive from Bergerac airport, Lacapelle Biron is ideally sited for trips into the wine regions of Duras, Cahors and of course Bergerac, each region having its own unique landscape and architecture
